SPC flooring has gained immense popularity in Dubai in terms of flooring options, and justifiably so. It seems to be made out of high-quality wood, is solid underfoot, and seems very resistant to water, scratches, and everyday wear. In the case of this project at The Crest in Sobha Hartland, our client desired a contemporary floor that would appear to be good over a long period of time and also accommodate the usual life of a popular household. The right answer was SPC. 

The project began with a home visit. We conducted a measurement of the entire area to be covered with the new Dubai Flooring, and we determined the state of the subfloor. Installation of a good SPC requires a flat, dry, and clean base. In case of the presence of bumps or dips in the sub-floor, it can end up lifting or creaking of the planks in the future. Hence, we never hurry this initial step. 

In our team, we cleaned the space, verified the level of the entire space, and smoothed all the corners to make everything perfect. Then, we talked about the choice of colours and style with the client. There are numerous wood appearances in SPC flooring, light oak is often used, and even solemn walnut; this is determined by the walls, furniture, and the entire home atmosphere. 

We assisted the customer in choosing a color that perfectly corresponded with the interior of the apartment and provided the apartment with a spacious, conceivably modern atmosphere. On the installation day, our team delivered materials, tools, and underlay. The planks of SPC are constructed by clicking, and that does not imply that the task is not hard. It is very important to have the first row straight, as all other rows are lined up by the first row. 

Our fitters particularly took great care in doing this; they put spacers in so that they could leave the right way outside, so that it might expand naturally. Plank by plank, the floor took shape. To produce the appearance of natural wood, our team staggered the joints following the natural manner. Each plank was cut to fit around doors, corners, and built-in pieces of furniture. 

As soon as the whole area was covered, skirting and edge profiles were created to provide a perfect finish at the edges of the floor and wall. The overall effect was a lovely, contemporary floor which transformed the atmosphere of the entire apartment. The flooring agent distributes: using only a damp rag, SPC flooring can be cleaned without any trouble, which means that the client can enjoy their house without worrying about everyday life.
