In the bedrooms, we provided and fitted full-height blackout curtains in warm beige color. The fabric was suspended between the ceiling and the floor with a high pleat proportion, which gives the curtains a full, thick drape that gathers at the floor. In addition to the classy finish, blackout lining was carefully selected to prevent the strong morning sun in Sharjah and ensure that the rooms are cool and dark to have restful sleep; a useful feature of homes in the UAE. The beige neutral color was chosen to accommodate any future color palette the family may have in furniture.

The internal staircase was completed by the use of a high-end woven loop-pile carpet in a natural oatmeal colour. The cloth was custom-fitted to each tread and riser and folded neatly around all the steps to give it the appearance of a smooth, personalized garment. The benefits of this treatment are in addition to softening the footsteps and decreasing noise between floors; it offers slip resistance and protects the underlying structure, a smart addition to villas with children and people walking around all day long. The gently woven fabric provides a small detail of visual interest without overpowering the rest of the interior.

In the case of the outdoor area, we installed the high-density artificial grass in the rear courtyard. The turf was interlocked wall to wall, producing a low-maintenance and green lawn, which remains green throughout the year, even with the heat of Sharjah. Combined with the current string lighting, the area was turned into a welcoming environment to have family and spend time in the evening.
A combination of these finishes transformed Villa B03 into a sophisticated, comfortable, and long-lasting house in the style of the daily needs of the family.
